Author James Renner
Renner is the local author of Amy: My Search for Her Killer (2006), The Serial Killer’s Apprentice (2008), It Came from Ohio (2012), and True Crime Addict: How I Lost Myself in the Mysterious Disappearance of Maura Murray (2016).
While he is mostly known for his true-crime journalism, he has also written two fiction novels and directed several short stories and
documentaries. His new podcast is titled “The Philosophy of Crime.” Preregistration required.
